Val d’IsèreNovember 13th 2023 – On Monday November 6th, the Gault&Millau 2024 Trophées were held in Paris to reward the best talents in French gastronomy. Antoine Gras, Chef at La Table de l’Ours, was awarded the Grand de Demain title alongside five other chefs.

Arriving in the kitchens of Les Barmes de l’Ours hotel in 2013, Antoine Gras began his career as a kitchen help. In 2017, he became Chef, having worked his way up through the ranks. In 2019, the work of the Chef and his team was rewarded with 1 Michelin star for La Table de l’Ours, the hotel’s gastronomic restaurant.

Originally from the Auvergne region, Chef Antoine Gras was quickly adopted by the region and its many producers, with whom he has been sharing his passion for 10 years now. From delicate sauces to cooking in the fireplace, La Table de l’Ours restaurant promises a unique taste experience, enhanced by panoramic views of Val d’Isère and the mountains. Completely renovated at the end of 2020, the restaurant offers guests a space immersed in the spirit of nature reflected in the cuisine of Antoine Gras.

Les Barmes de l’Ours also offers two other restaurants, headed by Le Chef: at dinnertime, the “Coin Savoyard” invites guests to (re)discover the Savoyard specialities for which our region is famous. With more simplicity but just as many flavors, epicureans will linger in our bistronomic restaurant, the “Rôtisserie”. With the allure of a pretty chalet, the table offers the great bistro classics for lunch and dinner.
