The hotel Les Barmes de l’Ours is the only establishment situated at the foot of this legendary black run with a vertical drop of 850 meters over a distance of more than 2900 meters. This gives you privileged ‘ski-in ski-out’ access to the 300 km of pistes in the vast Tignes-Val d’Isère ski area, offering an incomparable choice of itineraries to suit all ages and abilities.
THE BELLEVARDE FACE, SCENE OF THE GREATEST SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS
The ‘Face de Bellevarde’, Val d’Isère’s iconic piste, established the resort’s reputation for sporting excellence and was the venue for the 1992 Olympic Games. Designed in its modern layout by the legendary champions Jean-Claude Killy and Bernhard Russi, it remains the venue for the Critérium de la Première Neige races every December, featuring the world’s greatest champions.
